The market divides into distinct sections. The fruit and vegetable area occupies the centre with seasonal Piedmontese produce: Volpedo peaches, Carmagnola peppers, Langhe hazelnuts and autumn truffles. The dry food and spice section blends Piedmontese traditions with ingredients from around the world. The covered Mercato Coperto houses exceptional butchers, fishmongers and charcuteries with outstanding Piedmontese salumi.
